The Role
Our client are an experiential and live events agency with an
international network consisting of 10 strategically placed offices
filled with over 400 members of staff. Fuelled by the increased
demand for live marketing, they now need to strengthen their UK
operations team and are looking for an Operations Manager to lead
the way.
As Operations Manager you'll be required to handle both the
production and operations requirements of the agency. Your
responsibilities will include:
- Creating and managing budgets for the production and operations
elements of all jobs that the agency produces.
- Taking responsibility for the delivery of events and projects
against these budgets.
- Managing the onsite build and de-rig of projects, which may
involve working at the weekend and outside hours.
- Managing an ongoing relationship with suppliers.
- Working with the account team to produce budgets for any
pitches the agency are involved in.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role of Operation Manager will have
extensive proven experience in a production or operations role for
a live marketing, experiential or event agency. You must have a
thorough grasp of what it takes manage an event from the creative
process through to budgeting and scheduling. From time to time you
will be required to work on-site in the evenings and at weekend so
a flexible attitude to your working hours is essential.
