The Role

Our client is part of a global network with offices across 40 countries. As the brand activation division of this through-the-line marketing agency, they have experienced massive success in recent years and are looking to strengthen their strategic offering in response to expanding client requirements. They want to become the first activation network to add strategic value to their complex offering. To do this they need a Head of Strategy & Insight to lead the way.

The key role of the Head of Strategy & Insight will be to shape the identity of the strategy department and continue to build the team in line with business needs. You will be reporting directly to the EMEA Head of Activation and will be required to advise all teams on strategy and insight on a regular basis.

Core Tasks:

  • Clarify and deliver the vision for S&I - you'll need to understand how S&I works with other parts of the business across all disciplines of the agency.
  • Work closely with the creative leaders to provide strategic thinking and insights to stimulate award winning creative ideas.
  • Develop and manage new business strategies to drive new business.
  • Productise strategy & insight deliverables and processes.
  • Ensure that the S&I deliverables are in-line with the agency proposition and meet client expectations.
  • Undertake major S&I work pieces across the agency.

The Candidate

The role of Head of Strategy & Insights is a big role that can only get bigger as this division of the agency continues to grow, so it really requires someone at the top of their game to rise to the challenge.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience as a senior strategist across 5-10 categories.
  • Management experience.
  • International experience.
  • Proven strategy success.
  • Proven ability to define and package strategy services.

The Salary

Up to £130K
