The Role
Our client is a leading network integrated agency globally
recognised for their work across all sectors (working with a number
of massive blue chip clients). They specialize in digital and
direct; acquisition, retention, up-sell, website, banners, social
media and mobile - they are innovative market leaders who are not
constrained by media.
Business Director: Overview
The Business Director will be the main day to day contact for
senior clients (marketing managers/directors) at blue chip brands,
and so will need to demonstrate experience of operating at this
level of client engagement.
This role requires the management of multiple clients and
multiple agencies. Ability to be flexible, fast paced and build
solid relationships with partner agencies is a must.
Creative; In conjunction with the planner, the creative
department's most senior client team contact on a day-to-day basis,
provides an overall vision and direction for the creative work and
ensuring it is set in the correct business context.
Finance; The Business Director will take overall responsibility
for financial matters on the business, and contribute to the
writing of business and resource plans for the account, and has had
experience of leading such areas in the past.
The Candidate
The Business Director will be someone who recognizes there are a
number of ways to get the job done. They will enjoy and creative an
open and fluid working environment that allowed change to happen
quickly and have the gravitas to maintain this.
Experience
- Insurance or financial services preferable
- B2B and B2C experience essential
- Line management of Account Directors and Account Managers
- Strategic and implementation skills in direct and digital (this
is an integrated role)
