Account Director - London - £40K - £45K

The Account Director's key role is to execute the strategic marketing plan of each account, identify and progress strategic development and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospect clients. You'll be responsible for managing and leading the team to ensure that consistently great work is delivered to the client at all times.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Understand all aspects of the client's business.
  • Develop and manage close working relationships with the client and establish strong loyalties with them.
  • Maintain responsibility and accountability for the financial health of the client's business.
  • Maximise commercial opportunities for existing and potential accounts.
  • Proactively add to the strategic direction of the account.
  • Work closely with the creative team to deliver consistently top level creative work.

The Candidate

The successful Account Director will need to have solid agency experience, ideally with a digital focus and with experience of working on a financial services account.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Solid client facing experience with a good track record of fostering and developing client and supplier relationships.
  • Excellent knowledge of the digital channel with specific emphasis on digital communications campaigns.
  • Commercially aware with an ability to capitalise on new business opportunities.
  • Proven management skills.
  • Creative thinking skills with an entrepreneurial approach.
